Ashley has been working at Acadian Counseling Center since 2012 with locations in Lafayette and throughout the state of Louisiana working in telehealth as a Louisiana native, local counselor, from the state of Louisiana.

Ashley works with many types of difficulties including anxiety disorders, stress management, anger management, marital and premarital work, parenting, self-esteem, coping skills and more.

 Ashley takes a non-judgmental, genuine and authentic approach to every client. She will work with you to increase your understanding of how thoughts,  feelings and behaviors are connected in your life using a foundational Cognitive Behavioral Approach.

Teletherapy is currently offered where personal connection and counseling services blend in the comfort of your private space. 

Ashley is originally from a small rural city in Louisiana called Abbeville and also a city in Texas called The Woodlands. 

She has been a helper for as long as she can remember. She started helping others in high school by being on the high school retreat team and at Louisiana State University in a campus leadership position. She helped organize and speak at retreats for LSU's Catholic Student Center, Christ the King, as a retreat team member. She worked with high school students in the surrounding areas as a speaker and facilitator. 

She always wanted to help others and at first, decided to major in Pre-Medicine/Biological Sciences instead of counseling and it only increased her curiosity to learn more about Psychology in relation to her Biology degree. In the end, she knew where she was being led and made the decision to return to school in order to become counselor and continue on the path that she knew she always wanted and was called to. In the end, her background in Biology has helped to form her counseling approach in how we function biologically in order to better understand ourselves psychologically.
