Rates and insurance

Out of network sessions require full payment at outset of therapy. Fortunately, depending on your plan, your insurance company may help reimburse a portion of the cost by mailing you a check. For example, most PPO and POS health plans offer at least partial reimbursement for out-of-network services.  

Locate your out of network benefits: 

• These are located in your Summary of Benefits, included in a member information packet or on your insurance company website. 

• Look for this key term: Out of network deductible. This is the amount of money you have to pay before you are eligible for reimbursement.

• We will give you a SUPERBILL of your invoices each month to send to your insurance provider for reimbursement. 

-Your insurance carrier can help you navigate the reimbursement process by calling the 1800 Member Services # on the back of your ID card.

-If you have a Health Savings Account (HSA), it makes your out of network even easier by using your pre-tax dollars to pay your deductible.

We have 3 self pay rates: $105, $150, and $180 per hour. Rates are based on the experience of the counselor.

Options for private paying clients: 

• Claim mental health as a medical expense tax deduction
• Claim our services as an out of network provider if we do not accept your insurance at this time. 

The benefits of paying privately include: 

• No term-limits in counseling

• Insurance cannot audit your therapy notes

• You will not be given an official diagnosis per insurance requirements that are kept on file
