Carla has 20+ years of experience working with a variety of clients in diverse settings. She has worked with clients on all sorts of mental health challenges or life cycle transitions.

I see counseling as a process in which you, the client, and I, the counselor, build a trusting relationship and work as a team to resolve your behavioral, personal, and social challenges. Together we will face your challenges and develop treatment goals for improved mental health and wellness. As a team, we will systematically work towards achieving your treatment goals and finding resources to support your mental health.

I am very family-oriented and find strength in my family of origin. I am happily married to my husband and as life partners we face our celebrations and challenges together. We have a wonderful dog who brings joy to our lives daily. We enjoy collecting Star Wars items, entertaining family and friends, and binge watching movies and shows. I personally enjoy crafting, reading, listening to music, thrifting, and window shopping.
