Licensed Professional Counselor
Shamanic Healer
"Therapy is a process where the client and myself develop a trusting partnership. My hope is to create opportunities together where you are able to further recognize your own resilience. Everyone goes through life experiencing trials and hardships, but that does not mean your experiences and feelings are not validated."

Telehealth Certified

I am a Louisiana native with the titles of Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), and Shamanic Practitioner. I am also Telehealth credentialed and have therapeutic work experience in Community-Based, Outpatient, Intensive Outpatient, and virtual settings (voluntary and mandated referrals). Treated clinical populations include children through elderly, in both group and individual therapy, who have struggled from varying diagnoses and other conditions that may be a focus of clinical attention.
*Right now, I am currently seeing clients via telehealth exclusively.

Throughout my experience as a mental health professional, I have utilized interventions from Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) and multiple Evidenced Based Practices (EBP). My specialties as a culturally sensitive psychotherapist include trauma, depression, anxiety, and intra/interpersonal conflict.
I also carry the experience from a One Year Shamanic Healing Intensive and can implement these practices with community members. This program was under the guidance of an extensively trained practitioner of the Foundation for Shamanic Studies, who is a founding member of The Society for Shamanic Practitioners as well.
I am also an LGBTQ+ allied counselor and welcome anyone who is part of the community! Come as you are!
Clientele: Young adults, Adults

One of my most important beginning goals as a counselor is to make sure you are getting what you need out of our sessions and that you have found the right counselor for you!
Throughout my experience, I have practiced many interventions from Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) and multiple Evidenced Based Practices (EBP). My specialties as a culturally sensitive therapist include depression, anxiety, and interpersonal conflict. I also have experience with Mindfulness-Based practices (MBCT) and Compassion Focused therapy.
A common thread holds steady in my practice overall; an unwavering desire to encourage and support. Traditional therapy or healing work is a process where the client or community member and I develop a trusting and safe partnership. My hope is to create opportunities together where you can further recognize your own sense of support and resilience. I fully believe in the power of insight and how it directly inspires us to carve a healthy path in life!
