United States Air Force; Mental Health Specialist (Served 1989-1998)

THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE JENNIE!

Jennie served in the United States Air Force for 10 years as a Mental Health Placement Specialist where she placed Airmen with mental health services. Jennie performed these services to help active duty Airmen on her base with the appropriate counseling services that included inpatient, outpatient, drug and alcohol abuse, family advocacy, and administered psychological and neuro-psychological testing. Jennie was stationed in Sheppard AFB in Texas, Izmir, Turkey, and McCord AFC in Washington State. 

After active duty, Jennie attended University of Houston where she majored in Psychology.

Jennie is happy to continue her active duty training here at Acadian Counseling Center. She feels like her life's work brought her here. After taking time off to start her family, she eagerly jumped back into the work force to fulfill her calling to be of service to others'. 

She has been married to her husband, Alan, for almost 25 years. Together they have 4 children, affoctentionaly known as "Little Sugars". She enjoys cooking & baking, learning new things, spending quality time with her family, and immersing herself with Cajun Culture.
