Originally from Minnesota, Bob relocated to Louisiana in 2013, bringing with him decades of experience and a strong commitment to the social work profession.
He has been practicing social work since 1989 and has held a clinical licensure since 1997. In addition to his clinical credentials, he serves as a Board Approved Clinical Supervisor.
Throughout his career, he has gained extensive experience across a variety of settings, including addiction treatment, corrections, inpatient and outpatient settings, private mental health clinics, administration, and clinical supervision. These diverse experiences have provided him with a broad perspective on the challenges individuals face and the importance of compassionate, effective, and client-centered care.
From 2006 to 2013, he also served as an Assistant Professor of Social Work at The College of St. Scholastica in Duluth, Minnesota, where he contributed to the education and professional development of future social workers.

"My philosophy of helping others through therapy is a strength-based model. I strive to help people utilize their strengths and resources to achieve their goals and change what they would like to see in their life. My experience has taught me that most people have the ability to recover from severe addiction and substantial mental health issues.
I see myself as a guide to help them define what recovery would look like for them and then to set goals and objectives to achieve that.
Recovery is different for everyone but it is not elusive and not impossible. Let us help you find yours. I utilize cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, reality therapy, and solution focused therapy."
