I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work and a Master’s Degree in Counseling and have dedicated my professional life to helping diverse groups of clients since graduating in 2011. I have worked with all age groups, but most of my career has been spent counseling adults (18+) in the areas of addiction, crisis management, depression, stress, grief, anxiety, and life transitions.

My counseling approach is centered around Existential Therapy, with a focus on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). This approach focuses on changing problematic patterns of thinking surrounding the inherent struggles of life such as anxiety and the need to find deeper meaning in our lives.

I believe that psychotherapy is a tool to guide people to obtain the skills to be emotionally successful in their lives. I believe that we are all on a journey of self-awareness and sometimes we need help along the way. I believe that the decision to seek therapy is a sign of emotional health and awareness. I believe that if you don't care for yourself, you will not be able to care for anyone else, and that therapy is a critical tool in self-care.

I am originally from Slidell, LA and moved to Lafayette in 2025 to start a new chapter after getting married. My wife Julia is a personal trainer, and we enjoy an active lifestyle with our dog Soju that includes lots of walks around our neighborhood and hikes in nature.
