Lauren has experience in the school setting and worked as a pre-school teacher at a Montessori school in Tennessee after she received her bachelor's degree in 2012.
In 2018, Lauren started her professional work as a family therapist in the home setting.
She has worked as a community-based counselor and assisted families with conflict, structure, parenting, and reunification. She also worked with children and adolescents who struggled with behavioral issues and symptoms of anxiety and depression.
She currently teaches stress management, mindfulness and relaxation techniques to adults who are experiencing medical and mental health challenges.

Lauren primary uses a cognitive behavioral approach when counseling individuals and a systemic approach to families. She believes that thoughts are the core of our behaviors and that they could prevent us from fulfilling our goals and passions.
Lauren strives to be non-judgmental and genuine with every client she meets and recognizes the unique needs of every client. At the end of the day, she strives to ensure that you feel heard and are empowered to live your best life.
Lauren is from New Iberia, LA but has lived in Jackson, Mississippi, Milwaukee, Wisconsin and Sewannee, Tennessee.
Lauren grew her passion for listening and helping when she was a camp counselor during college. Here, she also grew to love nature and the outdoors.
Lauren’s favorite things are being home with her husband, two-year old and two large rescue dogs. When not at home you can find her listening to live music and hanging out downtown with friends.
